Parts of the digestive system
- LIVER ---> Produce bile. Take toxins out of
the blood.
- ANUS ---> Marks the exit point where feces
leave the body. Poop.
- SMALL INTESTINE ---> Long tube (7 meters). Absorbs the vitamins,minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and fats.
- LARGE INTESTINE ---> Short tube (1,5 meters). Absorb the water and some minerals into the blood.
- MOUTH ---> Teeth and tongue. Saliva. Where starts the process of digestion.
- STOMACH ---> Produce gastric juices.
- ESOPHAGUS ---> Connects the mouth to the stomach.
