The process of digestive system

The liver produces a liquid called bile, that helps the digestion. Next, the remaining food goes to the small intestine which absorbs the liquids. This remaining food is called waste and is throwed out of the body by anus.

The process of digestive system starts in the mouth, that chews the food into small

pieces by teeth. The tongue moves these pieces around. Later, the saliva covers these pieces and makes that food breaks down through the pharynx, and later into the esophagus. The food travels down the esophagus and enter into the stomach. In the stomach the food is mixed with acid, and after spending some time in the stomach, the food goes to the large intestine where the minerals are absorbed.
