PARTS AND THEIR FUNCTION
Heart: The heart pumps oxygenated blood to the body and deoxygenated blood to the lungs
Pulmonary artery: transports blood from de right ventricle of the heart to the lung.
Pulmonary vein: the pulmonary veins are the only vein that carry bright-red oxygenated blood.
Aorta: it spreads the oxygenated blood that sends the heart to feed the tissues and organs of the body except the lungs.
Pulmonary circulation: Transports oxygen-poor blood from the heart to the lungs and returns oxygen blood to the heart.
Systemic circulation: Transports oxygenated blood from the heart to the all body and returns oxygen-poor blood to the heart.
Coronary circulation: The coronary circulatory system supplies blood to the heart. And is part of the systematic system.
Left artery: Carry blood to the lungs to be oxygenated.
Left ventricle: receives blood from the left atrium via the mitral valve.
Arterial blood: Blood that is oxygenated in the lungs, found in the chambers of the heart and in the arteries, and a relatively bright-red.
Right ventricle: collects deoxygenated blood from the right atrium. Pumps it into the pulmonary artery and into the lungs.
Right atrium: contracting and relaxing their walls, pushing the blood that is returned to them into ventricles.
